After the revelation that what I thought was a vintage Christmas postcard in yestarday's entry in fact said the word 'choristers' rather than 'Christmas', I've been extra sure that today's postcard is Christmas. This vintage postcard was published by J.Welch in 1906. Even though it says Xmas, it is almost a mix between a Valentine card and a Christmas card.
As always, 100's more vintage postcards on my web site, and if you've missed the previous day's Christmas postcards, why not have a look at my vintage postcard advent calendar where you can see current day's postcard, plus the postcards from earlier in the month.
What a great combination of romance and Christmas.
ReplyDeleteLove is in the air. Guess that is a kissing gate.
ReplyDeleteBTW Even though I spotted the 'Chorister' I was still convinced by your Christmas interpretation, no need to fess up,LOL.
