Humourous vintage postcards

Today's blog entry showcases a couple of Edwardian 'humour' postcards. They are both published by Mint Heritage Ltd., which until I found these cards was a publishing house I'd not heard of. The postcards are in such good condition I'm almost tempted to suggest they might be reproductions, but my research has only surfaced originals, dating to 1905.

Musical Terms Up To Date, A# Sharp and Ab Flat, published by Heritage Mint Ltd., number 3

Flossie, with Her Bear - Behind, published by Heritage Mint Ltd

  2. I wonder if the "bear - behind" was considered racy at the time?

  4. I have some old comic postcards in a similar style that look almost new. But "Mint Heritage" doesn't sound like an old-fashioned name.
