Again, it's a bit scary how quickly the weeks fly by, but good that it's the weekend. This week's Sepia Saturday had me rummaging through a few old magazines, but eventually I decided, yet again, on old postcards, and the theme of peace.
Vintage postcard, "Let's Have Peace at Any Price"
As usual 100's of vintage postcards on my web site.
She looks very fierce :) will she be mollified by flowers?
ReplyDeleteAww how cute is that card!
ReplyDeleteJust goes to show - peace begins at home or very close thereto! Cute.
ReplyDeleteWhat year do you think the postcard dates to?
ReplyDeleteIt has a red 2 1/2d QEII stamp, so assuming late 1950's or early 1960's.
DeleteCute, fun and a very different slant on this week's serious theme.
ReplyDeleteI can't figure out if this postcard makes me laugh or cry!
ReplyDeleteCute - and the older I get the more I agree with the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteAnd Mother Thereas says "Peace begins with a smile".
ReplyDeleteCute postcard, but that little girl looks like a bully. It reminds me of the comic postcards I have of women attacking their husbands with rolling pins.
ReplyDeletePeace begins at home but I'm not sure if flowers will satisfy this girl.
ReplyDeleteNot sure how I feel. Reminds me of my sister and my brother...........but he never got a black eye!
ReplyDeleteDo you think he is wearing an apron to do the washing up?
