I have definitely blogged about Easter postcards before but not sure I included these slightly more 'quirky' ones. Although a bit tatty, I like the first one best, and am curious of the use of the word 'attend' in that context ... seems unusual. Happy PFF and Happy Easter.
May Easter Joy Attend You, c.1911

Eggs, bunnies, flowers - all the symbols. Very pretty cards. "May Easter joy attend you" sounds rather biblical.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these off-beat Easter cards!
ReplyDeleteWow, 1901 is early.
ReplyDeleteI like the last one.
Happy Postcard Friendship Friday!
What lovely cards - Easter cards are probably the prettiest with all the lovely flowers and images of bunnies, etc. The colors are scrumptious! Great cards.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful selection! I am partial to the third card. What a sweet child and rabbit.

ReplyDeleteI agree with Aimee that the girl and bunny card is just great. Not too often that real photos were used on Easter postcards.
ReplyDeleteGreat collection! They are all really nice postcards. I always like the use of the letter with the wax seal in old postcards.
ReplyDeleteThere is a charm about these old postcards that are lacking in the new cards.
ReplyDeleteYour vintage Easter cards are so gorgeous! I really like vintage items, especially if it is a card. Thanks for sharing.
