It's been a while since I participated in Theme Thursday as recently I've been working away a lot, but I'm back in for this week's theme of beds. However my take on the theme is perhaps a bit different than expected. Rather than a bed to sleep in I have opted instead for a flower bed, and what better place for a flower bed than Regent's Park in London. This is a Raphael Tuck vintage postcard dating back to1908.
Flower beds, Regents Park, London, c.1908
As usual 100's more vintage postcards on my web site
It is funny how many types of "beds" there can be, and it is nice to see that someone chooses a different type of bed.
ReplyDeleteFlower beds are a bed that many people can truly enjoy and this looks like a great one. I enlarged the picture and you can see the guy in the back with a rake or something tending to the flower bed. Love this postcard.
It is very nice to see you back here posting again. I hope that you come back more often than once every few months.
Thanks for sharing such a great post card with us for this weeks Theme Thursday. I hope you have a go with next's weeks new theme. It will be interesting to see what you can come up with.
God bless.
